The staff person I interacted with was pleasant.
The pet fee wasn’t stated upfront, which was frustrating. The room felt really basic, almost like a no-frills motel. The price was steep for what was provided, leaving me feeling ripped off.

Mount Shasta's culinary gems are a delight! Just a hop to Seven Suns Coffee & Cafe for their unforgettable hand-crafted lattes and the fluffy pancakes at Lilys Restaurant will make your morning glorious. Plus, the vibes at the Gold Room Saloon across the street are groovy! Perfect for winding down with some tunes after a day of exploring.
Now, the digs were a bit rough around the edges—think squeaky beds and thin walls that let you in on your neighbors' late-night TV binging. The adjoining door didn’t lock well, and honestly, it felt a bit too much like a long-term stay for comfort. Not ideal for a restful escape.

The room was recently renovated and exceptional in cleanliness, making for a very comfortable overnight stay. Located conveniently across from a coffee shop with delicious homemade sweets, it made mornings enjoyable. However, the lack of power during my late arrival caused a payment hassle, and the atmosphere felt somewhat outdated and less inviting than anticipated. The nearby brewery added a fun element, but the overall vibe didn't quite meet my expectations.

The check-in process was smooth and the staff was accommodating handling our situation after a long drive staying late. The little cafe across the street had exceptional cinnamon rolls which became the highlight of our mornings.
It wasn't cheap but still acceptable for a stop over.

would come again
The room had a microwave, refrigerator, and a coffee machine, making it super convenient. The bathroom had good water pressure in the sink, though I didn’t shower. It was nice hanging out at the cafe across the street with tasty cinnamon rolls. The spa facilities were a perfect way to unwind after a long day.

The Alpine Lodge had a quaint charm that caught my attention right off the bat. The location felt cozy, and the nearby café served delicious homemade sweets that were perfect for breakfast. Relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of snowboarding offered the unwind I desperately needed. However, things took a turn when I arrived late due to a delayed bus. The power outage from a nearby forest fire complicated check-in. The owner insisted on cash for payment, which was problematic since I didn't have any. Thankfully, my taxi driver helped me out, but that was a hassle I’d rather avoid. The room felt outdated, with furnishings that haven't seen upgrades in decades. The shower took forever to get hot, which was really inconvenient. Overall, the hot tub and café were lifesavers during my stay, but a few significant issues with service and room conditions made it less enjoyable than anticipated.
